This DVD chronicles an exclusive event filmed and recorded at the Corner Hotel on  June 11th 2008, showcasing Nicky Bomba & The Drummers of Katoomba in a performance including rare preview of material from Bomba’s solo debut, the ‘Jah in the Moment’ EP (July, 2008). Joining Nicky are King Marong & Friends in a subtle acoustic performance of gorgeous traditional West African music, and the Ska Vendors, purveying  feel good skanking tunes peppered with melodic horns.

Driven by Diploma students from Music Industry (Technical Production) and A/V Technology, with critical production assistance from Photography students – this unique interdisciplinary production is a showcase of student ability and the real-world industry training that RMIT offers.
