Halloween Masquerade Ball with Wendy Rule

ZAUBEREI, meaning “magic” in German, is a powerful collaboration between three female artists, the unique Wiccan singer-songwriter Wendy Rule, the very talented cellist Rachel Samuel, and Talie Helene on double bass and keyboard.

Wendy Rule has been pioneering a unique solo career of mythic songcraft for ten years in Melbourne. Rachel has worked with many artists including Monique Brumby, Kerri Simpson, and Beth Gibbons (Postishead.) Talie’s previous ensemble experience includes as keyboardist with Eden, Portrayal and Hobbs’ Angel of Death.

Halloween, October 31st 2004, Masquerade Ball

A wild night of magic to celebrate Halloween (Wendy’s Birthday!) Debut performance of Wendys new project ZAUBEREI, a dark shamanic rock band, featuring cello, double bass and drums.

This will be an extravagant night of costume and ritual. Not to be missed!! Prize for best costume.

Special guests for the night are Chamelian Vortex, a wild psychadelic rock group.
